Powering the Best in Hospitality -Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025

The Hotelier Maldives Awards 2025 took place on 14th June at Barceló Nasandhura Malé, bringing together professionals from across the Maldivian hospitality industry. The evening saw the presence of nominees, resort representatives, partner organisations, and dignitaries, including the Minister of Finance and Planning.

BBM has been the principal sponsor, powering the initiative to recognize the hard work and dedication of individuals across the sector.

Following the remarkable debut in 2024 with over 300 nominations and 100,000 public votes, the 2025 edition soared even higher — garnering more than 450 nominations and an extraordinary 600,000 public votes for the shortlisted contenders.

Recognizing Culinary Talent

Among the honours presented during the evening was the BBM Chairman’s Award for Best Chef, given in appreciation of exceptional culinary skill and commitment.

It was a night to honour not just achievements, but the spirit of dedication that drives the hospitality industry forward.
